Leadership is our strength. We process bars, rods, and wire for the cold heading, cold forming, and industrial wire industries. Beta Steel carries an approximate inventory of 15,000 tons of material in our Sterling Heights, MI warehouse. This allows us to administer and fulfill the most challenging JIT programs.

Manufacturing: We are continually expanding and improving our processing capabilities utilizing both in-house processing and that purchased outside of our organization. Our ability to draw wire from as small as .056" to as large as 2" in rounds, shapes, and deformed condition have made Beta Steel one of the premier wire drawing facilities in North America. Our annealing capabilities include both continuous and batch type coil annealing. Your choice of steel coating is also made easy by Beta Steel offering lime, phosphorous, lube, and polymer coatings.

We are currently certified to the ISO 9001 quality standard. To further ensure our products' quality, we choose our suppliers based on their quality, price, ability to make delivery, and holding a current certification in either QS 9000 or ISO 9000.

Warehousing: With over 300,000 square feet of warehousing space throughout the Midwest, we can meet the most demanding delivery requirements. We also realize that each customer may have material needs like no other. Therefore, we offer stocking programs designed to each customer's individual needs. Big or small, from the simplest to the most complex inventory program, Beta Steel ensures quality material delivered on time and within customer specification.

1971 -Steel & Wire Incorporated

1974 -MNP Incorporated

1985 -Beta Steel Incorporated as part of Alpha Group Operated as broker Limited growth prospects

1996 -Beta Steel opened warehouse and wire drawing company specializing in JIT inventory programs

1999 -Beta Steel left Alpha Group to become affiliated with MNP Corporation

2008 -Merged operations with MNP's Steel & Wire

2008 -Expanded warehousing operations to Rockford, Illinois

2014 -Moved headquarters, steel processing and central distribution to Sterling Heights, Michigan
